Supplier Manager

You will be the primary point of contact for matters related to your assigned strategic medical product suppliers, playing a crucial role as a link between our production network and its strategic medical product suppliers. Your dedication will significantly contribute to maintaining and establishing stable supply chains, ensuring a continuous flow of production. You will tackle this challenge alongside your team and interfaces.

Role and Responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with your interfaces, you will oversee strategic suppliers throughout their lifecycle, from selection and qualification to continuous assessment, development, and potential disqualification.

  • You will coordinate the resolution of critical situations regarding your assigned suppliers by leading dedicated task forces.
  • Your efforts will secure supplier reliability from regulatory, technical, and quality perspectives.
  • In addition to your responsibility for strategic medical product suppliers, you will act as a liaison between the Dortmund site and our global production network concerning the products manufactured there.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Business Administration, (Business) Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in strategic supplier management and within a GxP environment.
  • Extensive expertise in project management, with the ability to successfully execute projects across interfaces, hierarchies, and locations.
  • Excellent skills in complaint handling, supplier development, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and coordination skills, with proficient use of MS Office applications.
  • Responsible and proactive work ethic.
  • Fluent English & German language skills are necessary for supporting international suppliers and locations within our global network.
