Job Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 Ingredients Manufacturer. For their Hamburg Production Site, they're currently looking for a:

Freelance HVAC Engineer

  • Location: Hamburg
  • Length: 8 months
  • Start: latest 15.04.2024

 

 

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers and designers, contributing to the development of construction documents for a range of systems, including HVAC wet/dry, plumbing, controls, and associated systems.

Discover Your Role:

  • Engage in engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC dry systems within cutting-edge facilities such as cleanrooms, manufacturing/process facilities, and institutional spaces.
  • Generate mechanical engineering calculations to support HVAC system designs, encompassing heat load assessments, duct sizing, chilled water hydraulics, static pressure evaluations, and equipment sizing and selection.
  • Coordinate effectively with various disciplines to integrate inputs and produce comprehensive deliverables.
  • Provide on-site project support, making informed decisions and acting as a technical advisor.
  • Assist in the development of studies and design procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective work.
  • Foster close collaboration with the project team, other disciplines, and external design offices.
  • Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including calculations, Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, general arrangements, and operational sequences.

Demonstrate Your Skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Possess several years of professional experience, with a focus on TGA and clean room technology systems, preferably in the semiconductor sector.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of codes and industry standards pertinent to industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HVAC system design.
  • Fluent in German, with proficiency in English considered advantageous.
  • Showcase strong teamwork and communication abilities.
