My client is a global leader in the Food (Ingredients) industry, with their global head office in Hamburg, currently we're looking for a:

Position Overview: Director of Food Ingredient Sales DACH

Your Role: As the Director of Food Ingredient Sales you'll be at the helm of our sales strategy, driving growth and forging strong partnerships within the food industry. Your mission will be to lead our sales team, develop strategic initiatives, and cultivate relationships with key clients to expand our market presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor our sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand our customer base.
  • Nurture relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to deliver exceptional products and services.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles within the food ingredient industry.
  • Strong understanding of the food industry, market trends, and customer dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on driving results and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
