As the Senior Account Manager for Food Solutions, you will be responsible for driving sales of our diverse range of products, services, and solutions within the food industry across the DACH region. Your primary focus will be on selling both existing and innovative food solutions to key accounts in sectors such as confectionery, dairy, bakery. Your efforts will be pivotal in achieving growth targets for the company in this region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to foster sustainable and profitable relationships with existing and potential clients, with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and negotiate new business contracts, ensuring alignment with long and short-term sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze customer performance, market trends, and business opportunities to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate access to various resources (technical, FSQR, sustainability, etc.) to deliver enhanced services to clients.
- Act as a point of contact to resolve issues promptly and ensure high-quality customer service delivery.
- Travel within Germany up to 30% of the time to engage with clients effectively.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business economics or food sciences preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of B2B business models and commodity market dynamics within the food industry.
- Experience working in a matrix organization and managing key accounts.
- Results-driven mindset, resilience, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships and provide customer-centric solutions.
- Fluent in both German and English.
